It is a family-owned travel agency that mainly addresses a foreign audience. They wanted a website that would serve as a tool for Europeans to discover Romania.
The Challenge.
Our first objective was to identify the causes of the old website’s poor user experience. We studied the users interacting with the design of the website and noticed an increased difficulty for potential clients to find the best tour for them. The site contained a multitude of tour options across the country. Albatross also encountered internal difficulties in updating the website content which negatively affected customer satisfaction and conversion rates. The cluttered content and confusing website architecture resulted in user frustration and friction.
The Solution.
We delivered a modern and innovative design that’s aligned with the client’s mission of helping Europeans discover the natural beauty of Romania. A new site structure created a flawless user experience. The overall site architecture was rebuilt while user navigation was improved. We also built a custom system for creating personalized tours. The creation of the system was based on the customer need for a more personal approach that was identified in the research stage of the project.
We treated the client’s brand image in the online as a top priority. We aimed to create a credible and trustworthy business card through their new website. That’s why we only used top-quality images that complemented the intuitive design of the website. The content was reorganized into a more intuitive structure to support this scope.
