Initially a physical sports shoe store, Trainer Sport approached us to create a credible online presence that would gain the trust of its customers.
Trainer Sport needed a website that would support them with the objective of becoming a renowned name on the Romanian sports shoe market. Their previous website converted leads into customers at an extremely disappointing rate. After registering much higher sales through a third party (the online marketplace eMag) it became clear that the main barrier to a higher conversion rate was the website and not the product.
The online store with over 20,000 SKUs needed credibility. Gaining users’ trust became our main focus and we embarked on a slight brand repositioning by rebuilding the entire website.

The filtering function was significantly improved so that users can reach the needed products as easily as possible. New search functionalities also help users access helpful content. The site architecture was rebuilt together with the User Interface structure. The customer journey was significantly improved through easier browsing and better navigation and filtering. The store also comprised integrated payment systems, carrier services, social media integration, fast checkout, and personalized customer notifications. All the added functionalities had the main objective of increasing the conversion rate on the website.
